The Susan G. Komen Foundation is a major contributor to breast cancer research and support for those dealing with the disease. Komen for the Cure has been involved in breast cancer research and prevention for decades, and was one of the very first groups to use the pink ribbon that has become synonymous with fighting breast cancer.
